・オリジナル楽曲1曲
・オリジナルアレンジ1曲
※2曲で10分以内
●カヴァー部門
・アレンジ曲、ソロギターカヴァー曲から2曲。
※いずれかをどの組み合わせでも可(例：ソロギターカヴァー曲2曲など)
※2曲で8分以内
★音源審査申込について
応募期間：2025年6月14日(土)〜2025年7月27日(日)まで
予選通過発表：2025年8月9日(土)
参加要件
・ギターのみのソロ演奏
・プロフェッショナル部門の音源はオリジナル曲、オリジナルアレンジ曲1曲ずつ
・カヴァー部門の音源はアレンジ曲、ソロギターカヴァー曲から計2曲
・予選を通過したら本選に参加できる方
・日本語か英語対応が可能な方
・フラットピック使用不可、サムピック使用可
・音源にエフェクトはかけず、加工しないでください
・プロフェッショナル部門、カヴァー部門どちらか一方のみエントリー可能、同時申込は不可です
・プロフェッショナル部門、カヴァー部門とも前回本選出場者は同じ楽曲のエントリー不可
・プロフェッショナル部門過去優勝者は参加不可、カヴァー部門優勝者は可能です
音源送付方法
■お申し込みフォーム(6月14日に公開します)
・原則データ申込
ファイル転送サービスを利用し、申込フォームにてお申し込みください。
(録音データの推奨ファイル形式:wav、aiff、mp3、aac)

※申込フォームは6/8に本ホームページ にて公開します。

★ Summary of the competition
● Professional category・1 originally composed song
・1 originally arranged cover song
※ Under 10 minutes for 2 songs
● Cover song category
・2 cover songs of fingerstyle guitar tunes or originally arranged cover songs
※ Either of the following combinations is accepted:
1 fingerstyle guitar song cover + 1 originally arranged song
(or) 2 fingerstyle guitar cover songs
(or) 2 originally arranged songs
※ Under 8 minutes for 2 songs
★ About the application of preliminary audition
Application period: June 14 ,2025 (Sat.) ~ July 27 2025 (Sun)Announcement of the audition result: Aug. 9, 2025 (Sat.)
Participation requirements
・Solo guitar only (No duet or other accompaniment).
・For the professional category, applicants need to submit 1 original song and 1 originally arranged cover song.
・For the cover song category, applicants need to submit 2 songs of either originally arranged song or a cover of a fingerstyle guitar music.
・Applicants should commit to participate in the final round of the competition on Sep. 21, 2024 if passing the audition.
・Applicants who speak Japanese or English.
・Flat picks are not allowed to be used in the competition, while thumb picks are acceptable.
・Please record the songs for audition using only microphones. No effectors should be applied to the audio files for audition. (Guitar sound in the final competition will also be collected by microphone only.)
・Applicants can only apply for one category of the competition. Entering for both the professional category and the cover song category is not permitted.
・For applicants who have taken part in Solo Guitar Competition before (regardless of the category): the song that have been performed in past competitions should not be used in the upcoming audition.
・Past winners of the professional category are not allowed to enter the competition again, while past winners of cover song category are allowed to participate again.
How to send audio for audition
・Application should be submitted via online application form
・Applicants should send the digital audio files for audition as a rule.
・Please use online file transfer services and process the application via the online application form. (recommended format for recording files: wav, aiff, mp3, aac)
※ examples of online file transfer service: Gigafile (https://gigafile.nu), Dropbox, etc.
・Online application form will be released on the homepage of Solo Guitar Competition on June 8.

・You will receive a confirmation email within one day after you finish the application via the application form or email. If you have not received the confirmation email after one day, please contact us.
Fees for participating the competition
・Professional category: JPY 9,000 (participants of the final only)
・Cover song category: JPY 5,000 (participants of the final only)
※ Entering the preliminary audition is free of charge. Only those who have passed the audition and are eligible to enter the final round will pay the fees for participation.
※ Applicants who have passed the preliminary audition will be informed of the bank account to which the participation fee should be transferred when the result is announced.
※ Overseas applicants will be informed individually about the method of payment.
※ We will confirm in the emails sent on Aug. 9 to the applicants who pass the preliminary audition about their willingness to participate the final round. Please make sure to reply to that email before Aug. 15 (Fri.).
